We are looking for an experienced Office and HR Manager to own the day-to-day office experience at CLP. This is a standalone, hands-on role in a small, high-performing investment fund. You will own our London office experience, creating an environment where people enjoy coming to work and can perform at their best. This is a permanent role for an experienced professional looking for a stable, long-term part-time position with meaningful ownership.
The role
This role is likely to suit someone who enjoys a broad, hands-on Office and People remit and is looking for a stable, long-term part-time position. The scope is split approximately 60% office & business support, and 40% People:
Office experience
Own the day-to-day experience and smooth running of our London office
Manage relationships with landlord and suppliers
Support workplace improvements, and ensure the office is welcoming, organised and well stocked
Plan marketing events and coordinate team events, celebrations and other moments that strengthen connection across the fund
Provide business administration related to the office
People experience
Own day-to-day HR admin including HR systems and employee contracts
Coordinate recruitment and onboarding
Support the administration of employee benefits
Provide support on employee queries, escalating more complex issues to leadership
Leadership coaching and organisational development are supported externally.
Who we are looking for
You are a self-starter who enjoys being the main point of contact for office and people administration. Your skills may have developed through administration, business support or operations roles before progressing into Office Management with HR responsibilities.
You will ideally bring:
Strong experience owning the day-to-day running of an office
Practical, hands-on HR experience across contracts, onboarding and offboarding, benefits, HR systems, recruitment coordination and employee queries
Confidence working closely with senior stakeholders, using good judgement and challenging constructively
Experience in investment management, financial services, PE/VC, professional services or other small, high-performance businesses
A pragmatic, calm and low-ego approach, with strong organisation, attention to detail and follow-through
Warmth and approachability with high ownership
Working pattern
This is a 20-hour-per-week role, spread across 4 or 5 days in the office so that you are part of the everyday life of the team. The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate.
